Hello, I'm Tamsin Ferrara-Mather, and I am committed to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering space for young people to explore their feelings and navigate life's challenges.
The focus of our work together is always on your child. I believe that every young person holds the key to their own growth, and my role is to walk alongside them, offering the right tools and support tailored specifically to their needs.
What I Offer: A Child-Led, Tailored Approach
I provide specialist counselling for children and young people aged 5 to 19.
My approach is child-led and pluralistic, meaning I draw from a variety of effective methods to ensure the therapy fits the client, not the other way around. This adaptable style helps us connect with your child in the way that feels most natural and helpful to them.
I frequently use creative and engaging techniques, including:
* Art Therapy: Using creative expression when words are too difficult.
* Play Therapy: A natural language for younger children to process emotions.
* Talking Therapy: Offering a confidential space for older children and teens to communicate their experiences.
